Coming in 2016- We are looking forward to taking part in special events to note the 100th anniverary of the Easter Rising, and the 150th Anniversary of the Fenian Invasion of Canada.

  • Friday, June 3, 2016
    Fenian Hoooley- In commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Fenian Raid, a bike ride will begin at the Buffalo Irish Center at 6:00 pm. Bike riders will travel through the Buffalo's First Ward to the Irish Famine Memorial, and return. Rush the Growler will be hosting the post-ride hooley at the Irish Center, where we will feature Fenian songs from the period and both Irish and American songs the were popular in the Civil War era.
